The Kenrick School of Theology prepares men for the priesthood of Jesus Christ in the Catholic Church. Through their work in formation, their cooperation with the grace of God, and the call of their bishops, the men who complete this program of formation are ready for confident leadership in any pastoral landscape.

Kenrick School of Theology

The Kenrick School of Theology is the major seminary for the Archdiocese of Saint Louis and serves dioceses across the country and internationally. Here, seminarians are prepared for the priesthood of Jesus Christ with the aim of configuration unto to the heart of the Good Shepherd. Upon completion of the requirements of the School of Theology, the seminarians receive the Master of Divinity. They have the option of also earning an additional Master of Arts in Theology. Through their work in formation, through their cooperation with the grace of God, and through the call of their bishops, men who complete this program of formation are ready for ordination, prepared for mission in a new apostolic age.
