2005 Trivia Night

9/6/05 - Brian Fallon

Do you know all fifty state capitals?  How about all the ingredients listed on a ketchup bottle?  How long has it been since you reviewed the Missouri State Driver’s Manual?  These and so many other questions were asked at Kenrick-Glennon Seminary on July 31, as over two hundred trivia buffs gathered to test their knowledge as the college seminarians of Cardinal Glennon College hosted a Trivia Night in the seminary refectory.

Provided with questions created by seminarians Jason Schumer, Paul Hamilton and Bo Purcell (among others), groups of eight pooled their memory banks to find out just how much (or little!) they knew about music, art, coins, sports, their Catholic religion, and so much more.  Junior Jeff Geerling and his scoring associates tallied the points for each table while Schumer posed questions to the participants.  Prizes included St. Louis Cardinals baseball tickets, books, T-shirts and cash gifts.

The event was successful, raising funds towards various projects for the College Seminary, including new carpet for the chapel.  We thank all those who supported our Trivia Night and hope they enjoyed themselves as much as we did in putting the evening together.
